Coming out in 2028

No Caleb. No Enoch. No Fiona. Just Joshua, alone in a world where magic is taught by beings who rival angels in power.

Joshua disappears from Ireland in the middle of the night. When he wakes, he’s in At-lan: a hidden city where djinn have lived for six thousand years. Asma, the djinn woman who brought him there, offers him an opportunity denied to witches for generations: training at the legendary Red School.

But graduation isn't guaranteed. To survive, Joshua must endure impossible trials and compete in the brutal Summer Festival against candidates who have trained for a lifetime. Under the needle of the tattooist known as Monkey, Joshua receives magical tattoos drawn from ancient global traditions — each ink stroke a protection, and each one binding him deeper to a power he barely understands.

Meanwhile, angels move through the city streets. The angel Daniel seeks the Grand Vazir’s favor for Michael’s crusade. Locked away from his chosen family, Joshua uncovers shocking secrets about his bloodline—including a ghost from Caleb's past that changes everything.
